I echo everything Marci said in her e-mail. I must say I have scheduled many content sessions with authors, experts in the field, etc. in the last 10 years but this has been by far one of the best sessions for me personally. I usually gauge the presentation by how the audience reacts to what is being said, the lack of conversation during the session and feedback from the audience after the event is over. On a scale from 1-10, I would say you were off the charts “10+”.
I find when a presenter can stir up as many different emotions in a person in the time you had, the impact of your story will live in our hearts for many years to come. I always say if you can change the direction of a person life by the stories, “analogies” and life experiences you share, you have succeeded. Dave, we succeeded today.
